The PlayTN Sports Association, Inc. is a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to grow, promote and enhance the general welfare of the sports tourism industry within Tennessee.  The corporation brings together sports and hospitality industry representatives, who devote time, energy, and resources to the development of sports tourism and related industries for the state of Tennessee. In addition, PlayTN Sports Association provides a forum for the exchange of information, ideas and support among its members as necessary for the solicitation, creation, retention, coordination, production, and development of sports-related business, events, facilities, and activities.  The corporation’s primary goal is the growth and enhancement of the sports economy of the State of Tennessee and its local communities.
