ERLANGER CHATTANOOGA MARATHON TO OFFER 500 FREE ENTRIES FOR KID’S FUN RUN

CHATTANOOGA, TENN. (Feb. 2, 2018) – The Chattanooga Marathon Planning Committee is excited to announce that the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger Kid’s Fun Run Presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee will be FREE for the first 500 kids that register. This is possible due to the generosity of our community partner Truck N Trailers USA.

The Erlanger Chattanooga Marathon Race Weekend will be held March 2-4, 2018. The Kid’s Fun Run takes place on Saturday, March 3, at 11:00 a.m. All registered kids will receive a medal, race bag, bib, t-shirt, and a cape.

“We love Chattanooga and are excited to provide this free opportunity to our local youth. Hopefully every kid participating will feel like a superhero as they run the mile wearing their Truck N Trailers USA cape,” said Tom Moore, owner & operator of Truck N Trailers USA.

The Erlanger Chattanooga Marathon Race Weekend presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee had its inaugural year in March of 2016 and has grown to be a premier local event that showcases Chattanooga as a wonderful outdoor destination.

Tim Morgan, president of the Chattanooga Sports Committee said, “We cannot thank Erlanger Health System, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, and Truck N Trailers USA enough for supporting this not-for-profit community event that encourages local kids to get out and be active.”
